The Andaman waters are rich in marine life, offering opportunities to catch species such as Giant Trevally (GT), Wahoo, Sailfish, Dogtooth Tuna, Yellowfin Tuna, Spanish Mackerel, Groupers, Snappers, Jobfish, and the mighty Marlin.
The prime fishing season runs from October to May. Operations are typically suspended from June 1st to August 31st due to the monsoon season. September to October is particularly favorable for targeting giant Marlins.
Depending on the target species and location, techniques such as popping, jigging, and trolling are employed to maximize catch success.
Safety is a top priority. Boats are equipped with 16 life jackets, fire extinguishers, a distance alert transmitter, area information system, VHF communicator, fish finder & GPS, first aid box, cockpit cabin, and toilet facilities.
The Andaman Islands are situated in the Bay of Bengal, approximately midway between Thailand and India. Regular flights are available from major Indian cities to Port Blair.
